In August, 2010 School of Senior Civil Service developed a pilot training ‘Program for the Heads of Local Government Authorities’ for Kherson region, aimed the development and improvement of key managerial and leadership competencies of the senior local government officials.

The program is designed for the deputy heads of Kherson Regional State Administration and heads of regional administrations in the Kherson region. The program consists of the 6 modules:

• The Module 1. Strategic Planning for the Regional Development [trainer - Evgen Hlibovytsky]
• The Module 2. Local Finances and Financial Management [trainer - Iryna Shcherbyna]
• The Module 3. Involovement of Additional Resources for the Regional Development [trainers - Anatoliy Soloviev and Olena Solovieva]
• The Module 4. Effective Management of Organization [trainer - Kostiantyn Starodubtsev and Andriy Vyshnevsky]
• The Module 5. Communications [trainer - Evgen Hlibovytsky]
• The Module 6. Land Issues [trainer - Volodymyr Nosik]

In December 2010 School of Senior Civil Service developed a pilot ‘Program for the Heads of Local Government Authorities’ for Donets'k region. In the frame of the Program for Donets'k region there was conducted a training 'Involovement of Additional Resources for the Regional Development'.
